On Sunday 3rd June 2018, York Racecourse will host the 32nd Dolls House & Miniatures Fair and welcome over 90 dedicated exhibitors and artisans selling every imaginable miniature in a variety of scales.

For miniaturists around the country the show is not to be missed. Expect to find everything from handcrafted dolls to materials, from kits through to building supplies and everything you need for your dolls house, model or project all under one roof. This is an excellent chance to stock up on essential modelling items, find a bargain, an opportunity to treat yourself to some new accessories and to catch up with friends.

As well as all of the fabulous shopping you will have the opportunity to get some industry inside tips with expert talks and demonstrations, giving you an opportunity to learn new skills and meet like-minded people. Jane Harrop’s talk will be on ‘Technology and miniatures’ with a look at how technology is playing an important role in creating miniatures. The Miniature Needlework Society will demonstrate making a Florentine carpet on canvas, using wools in four colours and Suzanne Denver will demonstrate how to make a beautiful 1/12th scale fire screen.
